When Dr. Aron Harilela dreams of hospitality, he dreams in two languages: the buzz of Lockhart Road in Wan Chai, and the hush of Belgravia’s garden squares. His family’s legacy stretches from colonial Hong Kong to cosmopolitan London—and now, his two flagship hotels are inviting guests to walk that very bridge.
The Hari Hong Kong and The Hari London have just launched A Tale of Two Cities: Twin City Suite Sensation, a lush, dual-destination experience that pairs five-star stays with hyper-local discovery and a deep dose of playful luxury.
“This is a tribute to the heritage, dynamism and charm of my favourite cities,” says Harilela, the Chairman and CEO of Harilela Hotels Ltd. “With impeccable hospitality and a large dose of wit and quirkiness, we warmly welcome our guests on a seamless yet unforgettable journey.”

Suite Dreams from Wan Chai to Belgravia
The journey begins in either Hong Kong or London. At The Hari Hong Kong, it means checking into the 77-square-metre Chesham Suite, perched on the 30th floor, with sweeping views of Victoria Harbour and the high-energy bustle below. Designed by Tara Bernerd—whose signature touch leans into plush velvet, jewel tones, and art that feels more bohemian townhouse than typical hotel—the suite comes with its own terrace, private bar, and a marble bath fit for a movie star.
Across the globe, its counterpart, the Lockhart Suite at The Hari London, offers a quieter kind of drama: a king bed dressed in custom linens, two balconies with skyline views, a private library, and a feature fireplace that practically demands a cup of Earl Grey and a novel. Tucked into a townhouse on Chesham Place, steps from Harrods and Hyde Park, it’s exactly where you’d want to hole up after a day on the town.
Walk the City, Like You Live There
The package isn’t just about the beds, of course. In Hong Kong, guests are guided through Wan Chai at night by a licensed expert and the travel content creator behind @explore_hongkong. The two-hour “Best of Wan Chai at Night” tour isn’t your average sightseeing jaunt: you’ll snack on street food, ride the century-old Ding Ding Tram, witness the folk ritual of ‘villain hitting,’ and sip tea in a 140-year-old shop.
London’s side of the equation is more of a curated wander than a formal tour—head concierge Ben Malpass crafts a self-guided Belgravia itinerary, personalized and printed like a treasure map. Must-stops include Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Kensington Palace, and a who’s-who of shopping from Sloane Street boutiques to Harrods. Guests are encouraged to lose themselves in nearby museums, parks, and West End dinner reservations.

Afternoon Tea, Twice Over
Then there’s the tea. Because no story of London and Hong Kong would be complete without it.
At The Hari Hong Kong, Afternoon Tea is served alfresco at The Terrace or in The Lounge—a leafy, art-covered space that feels equal parts gallery and salon. With an optional champagne upgrade, the new menu features decadent bites like snow crab and ikura tartelettes, wasabi prawn, matcha ice cream & pistachio white chocolate lollipops, and their signature tiramisu.
Over in London, il Pampero hosts Dolci Momenti, a freshly imagined tea inspired by Italy’s sweet-meets-savory aperitivo culture. Highlights include focaccia topped with 24-month Parma ham and stracciatella, and a Tiramichoux filled with mascarpone cream and espresso glaze. Tea is served daily from 12 to 4pm, paired with JING Teas and Moët & Chandon.

The Details
The Twin City Suite Sensation is priced from HKD $7,700 + tax and service per night in Hong Kong, and from £1,000 per night in London. Both stays include daily breakfast for two, afternoon tea for two, VIP welcome amenities, and the local tour experiences. Guests can begin in either city, but flights are not included.

As the Harilela family sees it, you don’t have to choose between East and West. You can sleep in both, sip in both, and stroll through two very different cities—united by style, story, and a killer suite.
